Embarking on a mission to create the next generation design school: http://primitive.school/
Primitive Beta Update
Full Tutorial: This week I graduated from creating fun-sized lessons to making a (1:18:17) comprehensive tutorial showing how to translate a small, 3-screen app and design system into a SwiftUI project within Xcode. There are even a few interactions thrown in to foreshadow upcoming material in SwiftUI for Designers: Behavior.
More Members: Primitive Beta numbers continue to grow. About half have already explored the new content sent via the beta newsletter. I am receiving very solid feedback from testers and will be sending out another survey soon.
Summer Beta: I built a page in Squarespace to serve up all of the videos and files. This is new home for beta members, with exclusive downloads, and more to come.
I just sent out invites tonight! If you’d like to be added to the beta for Slack access, you can apply here.
This month I will be moving into design lessons while expanding on SwiftUI for Designers: Behavior. Primitive is first and foremost a design school, not a coding bootcamp. Design lessons will cover both theory and practice, with a focus on digital products.
The last thing I’d like to mention about Primitive is async vs sync lessons. I’d like to explore a synchronous, live course soon. More details to follow.
The index card system is still working, with some help from a large, digital inbox of tasks.
STILL pushing myself through Atomic Habits.
